I am researching into semiotics. Semiotics is when the signs are being studied. It is how communication is passed to the audience. What is the significance for the sign?
The signs of that show that this is a college magazine. The textbooks, the person on the picture looks like a college student so the age is very much relevant to portray it to the audience that it is a college magazine. The font of the text is quite basic, perhaps this could be a sign to show that it is a college magazine.
